I Piranha Bytes vogliono “tornare alle origini”

Anche se non c’è ancora nessuna informazione reale sul nuovo progetto dei Piranha Bytes, la rivista PC Games,
(da cui è stata estrapolata la traduzione in italiano di Lck, n.d. Sakkio), è riuscita a strappare almeno un piccolo commento
a Björn Pankratz durante la consegna del premio tedesco agli sviluppatori.

Seppure Björn non poteva chiaramente rivelare niente sul gioco vero e proprio
(e probabilmente questa situazione non cambierà fino all’anno prossimo) tuttavia
pare che i Piranha Bytes stiano progettando un gioco più cupo, una specie di ritorno alle loro origini. Quali siano queste origini in dettaglio, oltre alla cupezza appunto, non è dato saperlo.

Per chi non conosce la storia dei Piranha Bytes in dettaglio: la questione del ritorno alle origini è aperta già dai tempi del rilascio di Gothic 3 e condusse gli sviluppatori al rilascio di Risen 1. Questo gioco è stato in effetti valutato positivamente dalla maggior parte della community ed ha ottenuto ben due Gold-Award del BIU per aver venduto più di 100.000 copie in un periodo di 12 mesi in Germania.

Anche se il successore Risen 2 ottenne, ad esempio sempre da PC Games, una valutazione al pari del primo Gothic e di Risen 1, non fu possibile allacciarsi del
tutto al successo del predecessore. Molti membri della community lo videro come un peggioramento netto ed in effetti anche il successo dei BIU Awards non si ripetè.

C’è ancora speranza per i fan di vecchia data dei Piranha Bytes.
Bisogna però augurarsi che riescano veramente a capire quali sono le loro “radici” e vi ritornino con maggior entusiasmo rispetto al passato.

No non ci credo! Lui ritorna! Quindi R3 sarà ambientato nel continente visto che è rimasto li a combattere contro ISAMEL!

Ho l'impressione che Risen 3 sarà come un collegamento tra Risen 1 e il 2. Non sarebbe male vedere, ad esempio, come ha perso l'occhio l'eroe senza nome o assistere alla lotta tra Ursegor e Ismael.

Combat system

-There will be a prologue during which you can experiment with higher abilities. After that, you continue on level 1.
-Blocks work against monsters.
-At the beginning, you already have an evasion somersault and short range teleport to escape combat.
-Big armours and swords as well as firefalls and lightning strikes.
-Voodoo magic will probably also be available.
-Unconscious enemies can be plundered.
-The will be party members again who will help you in combat
-Combat system with four different actions and rudimentary combos.

Storyline

-Gameworld: Primarily middle european but also mediterranean and tropical regions.
-The world is modelled by hand.
-Seperate loading zones like in R2. No free roaming with out loading screens.
-Several factions (probably three) from which to choose.
-Already known are the “guardians” which resemble the paladins from older games.
-New enemy: The shadows (undead which rise from skull caves).
-At the beginning of the game, the main character’s soul will be devoured by a might shadow lord.
-After that, he will have a soul value which can develop either towards human or demonic.
-New hero, the character from previous Risen games will still play a starring role however.
- Food will still be swapped to “provisions”.

Si preannuncia un ritorno alle origini di stile Gotico. Non vedo l'ora di giocarci!

(Rispondendo a Diablo) Gothic 1 decente e Gothic 3 merda? Mi sa che ti conviene rigiocarteli dall'inizio. Gothic 1 è stupendo e Gothic 3 decente, peccato per i tanti bug. CHIUSO OT

"Sulla cover del prossimo numero della rivista tedesca PC Games campeggia una rivelazione che farà felici tutti gli amanti dei giochi di ruolo di scuola europea: Piranha Bytes ha rivelato Risen 3: Titan Lords. Purtroppo non abbiamo dettagli in merito e probabilmente dovremo aspettare l'uscita della rivista per saperne di più. Intanto è bello sapere che esiste."

Risen 3 previsto per Agosto 2014 per PC, PS3 e Xbox360!

Il mondo di Risen 3 è stato abbandonato da tutti gli dèi e sta subendo le conseguenze della Guerra dei Titani, quando all'improvviso una nuova minaccia sorge dalla terra. Un giovane guerriero viene attaccato dalle ombre e privato dell'anima. Decide così di andare alla ricerca di ciò che ha perduto nell'oscurità che si sta diffondendo nel mondo. I maghi esiliati potrebbero rivelarsi dei potenti alleati, ma per ottenere il loro aiuto dovrà trovare il santuario dei maghi a Taranis, chiamata anche Isola del Tuono. Protetti dai Guardiani, i maghi esplorano le miniere di Taranis alla ricerca di cristalli colmi di energia magica. Il giocatore si unirà ai Guardiani per avvicinare i maghi? O sceglierà una delle altre gilde di Risen 3 per raggiungere i suoi obiettivi?

Ma poi non so se hai letto tutte le caratteristiche del gioco. La possibilità di "rendere demoniaco" il proprio eroe senza nome, il mix moschetti, archi e balestre. Hype hype hype!
